When you’re looking for pet boarding in Knoxville, TN, you want more than a place to leave your dog or cat while you’re away. You want to know they’ll be safe, comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. At All Kreatures Pet Care, that philosophy has guided us for more than 30 years. Since opening our doors in 1995, our family has owned and operated the facility, creating a pet boarding experience built around personal attention, safety, flexibility, and genuine love for animals. Today, the next generation is already joining the business. So what makes All Kreatures different from other Knoxville dog and cat boarding facilities?
Family Owned, Family Operated, and Here for the Long Haul
All Kreatures isn’t a corporate boarding chain or a facility that changes hands every few years. The same family has owned the property since it opened in 1995. We’ve had decades to learn what pets need, what pet parents worry about, and how to create a boarding environment that feels safe and welcoming. We’re also invested in the long-term future of the facility. With the next generation already learning the ropes, our goal is to continue serving Knoxville-area families for generations to come. And because this is our family business, we live close to it, too. The owner lives less than five minutes from the kennel and frequently checks in after hours. That means your pet is never an afterthought once the regular business day ends.
Have a Reactive or Dog-Aggressive Dog? No Problem.
One of the biggest concerns for owners of reactive, fearful, or dog-aggressive dogs is what happens when their pet boards. At All Kreatures, we never mix dogs from different families in kennels or outdoor play areas. Your dog doesn’t have to share a kennel with an unfamiliar dog, and you don’t have to worry about your pet being placed into a group play situation with dogs they don’t know. This setup allows us to provide individualized care while reducing unnecessary interactions between unrelated dogs. Whether your dog is nervous around other dogs, reactive on leash, selective about their friends, or simply prefers their own space, we can accommodate their needs without making them participate in group activities. For many Knoxville pet parents, that peace of mind makes all the difference.
Boarding Options Designed for Different Pets and Personalities
We know there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to pet boarding. That’s why All Kreatures offers multiple boarding options for dogs, allowing you to choose the environment that best fits your pet.
Conventional Kennels
Our traditional dog boarding kennels offer a comfortable, straightforward option for pets who are perfectly happy with a classic kennel environment.
The Kottages
For dogs who would be more comfortable in a home-like setting, our Kottages provide a different boarding experience. They’re designed to feel less like a traditional kennel and more like a cozy space where your pet can relax during their stay.
The Guest House
Our Guest House features four larger, traditional kennels, with their own separate outdoor space and access. There’s also a little family history built into this space: these kennels were originally used as show kennels for the family’s show huskies. Today, they provide another option for dogs who benefit from more space and private outdoor access.
Cats Get Their Own Kind of Vacation, Too
Dogs aren’t the only pets who deserve options. For cat boarding in Knoxville, All Kreatures offers choices based on your cat’s personality and preferences. Our traditional cat accommodations feature window-climbing kennels, allowing cats to climb, perch, hide, and look outside. For cats who want even more room to explore, we also offer an entire room filled with toys, scratching posts, perches, and floor-to-ceiling windows. It gives curious cats plenty to watch and enjoy while they’re away from home. Because let’s be honest: cats have opinions about their accommodations, too.
We’re Open for Your Pets 365 Days a Year
Travel, holidays, emergencies, and life in general don’t follow a Monday-through-Friday schedule. Neither does our commitment to your pets. All Kreatures Pet Care provides care seven days a week, 365 days a year. Whether your trip falls over Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, or an ordinary Tuesday, you can count on us to be here for the pets in our care. That year-round availability is especially valuable for Knoxville-area families who travel frequently, work unconventional schedules, or need reliable boarding during holidays.
We’re Always Looking for Ways to Make Pet Care Better
Even after more than three decades, we don’t believe in standing still. All Kreatures is continuously improving and adding new services and enrichment activities to give pets more ways to stay comfortable, engaged, and happy during their stays. And we’re not done yet.
We have plans to expand our facility to include a larger group daycare option, giving us even more opportunities to meet the needs of local pet parents and provide additional enrichment and social experiences for dogs who enjoy group activities. Our approach is simple: listen to our customers, pay attention to what pets need, and keep finding ways to make their experience better.
A Knoxville Family Tradition
When you choose a boarding facility, you’re trusting someone else with a member of your family. At All Kreatures Pet Care, we understand that responsibility. For more than 30 years, our family has cared for pets in the Knoxville area. We’ve watched families grow, welcomed generations of pets, and built a facility that continues to evolve while maintaining the personal touch that comes with being family-owned and operated. From private outdoor play and accommodations for reactive dogs to cozy Kottages, spacious Guest House kennels, and enriching cat accommodations, we offer choices because every pet is different.
And as we look toward the future, one thing remains the same: we want All Kreatures to be a place where you feel confident leaving your pets and where they feel comfortable staying. If you’re searching for dog boarding or cat boarding in Knoxville, TN, we’d love the opportunity to show you what makes All Kreatures Pet Care different. Generations of the same family have been involved in the ownership and operation of All Kreatures Pet Care since its opening in 1995.
We offer free tours of the facility any day of the week between 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., so feel free to stop by. We can’t wait to meet you!
